After the grand take off on Wednesday, Adele rake six nominations in Grammy which includes the record, song, and album of the year, however, the twist happened when the owner of the 2011’s best-selling album “21” did not grab the night’s dessert.
Taking the lead during the spectacle, Kanye West wet off the night with seven nominations. Seasoned artists who also take the spotlight with grin were Taylor Swift and the legend Tony Bennett. Dancing with six nominations with Adele were Bruno Mars and the Foo Fighters.
The said nominations where raised after the Recording Academy’s fourth annual live concert special that was aired on CBS from Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. Various artists was featured, Lady Gaga, Katty Perry, Nicki Minaj, and the band Perry rock the event with their music.
The Record of the year category clings the name of Bon Iver for "Holocene"; “Grenade” from Mars, Mumford & Sons' "The Cave"; and Katy Perry's inspirational anthem "Firework." For song of the year, which honors the writers of the tune, contenders included "The Cave," ''Grenade, "Holocene" and Lady Gaga's "You and I."
