After 44 days of waiting and giving off several statements from the prosecution and defense, the Chief Justice of the Philippines – Chief Justice Corona has been given his verdict. CJ Corona has been convicted in Article 2 by the 23 Senator Judges of the Philippine Senate.

As to the time that we have been making this article, 19 votes currently went into the bunker of the guilty side and 3 senate judges gave their votes to acquit CJ Corona.

Arroyo, Defensor-Santiago and Marcos were the three senate judges that gave their votes to acquit the Chief Justice. While in the Guilty side was the 19 senate judges namely Angara, A. Cayetano, P. Cayetano, Drilon, Escudero, Estrada, Guingona, Honasan, Lacson, Lapid, Legarda, Osmeña, Panglinan, Pimentel, Revilla, Sotto, Trillianes and Villar.

During the time that the Conviction of CJ Corona is being discussed -  a lot of Filipino people keeps on talking about it in the different social networks and had made the issue as a trending topic worldwide. As of 4:00 in the afternoon. 6 different trending keywords made it to the top 10 of the worldwide trends in twitter respectively #CJonrial, Picha Pie, Sen. Knowing that the first impeachment to have finished correctly is already on its final day – a lot of people had been watching it thoroughly. Everything is now settle and CJ Corona is now GUILTY!
