Before the year ends a lot of good movies was released, may it be in the genre of thriller, comedy, action, drama, romance, sci-fi and any other themes everything was a heavy bomber for the cinema’s sales. Now the number one movie for the year end 2011 movie fest is Robert Downey’s “Sherlock Holmes: A game of Shadows”.
Reaching 39.6 million dollars as of today it is far from the second placer Alvin and the Chipmunks with 23.2 million dollars, the third placer for this week is Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol with 12.8 million dollars followed by New Year’s Eve with 7.31 million dollars and The Baby sitter with 4.61 million dollars as the fifth movie to be on the top grossers.
The statistics given was based on the American theatres and not from the worldwide sales. Although the Mission Impossible fourth fragment was expected to be the highest grosser of all it ended up just 3rd under Sherlock Homes.
Robert Downey is still unbeatable in terms of his comedy and action packed movie which her actually wore a ladies make up and dress just to fit one scene in the film. If you’re a Cruise fan why not watch now? Maybe you will pull the sale up a notch for your favorite actor.
