What would you do when you just saved hundreds of people during the Second World War? Would you make it as the greatest story you could ever tell? Or would you just keep it as secret?
In the case of Sir Nicholas George Winton, he just kept it to himself and from the world as a secret. He just saved 669 children during the World War II without telling anyone. It’s just then years later that his wife discovered the documents in their attic and submitted them to the BBC.
